Not much else to say, but wouldn't it be great if one NFL team (I'm thinking the Ravens in their all black uni's) pulled this off:

Well, they wouldn't need cheerleaders, I guess.
A haka is pretty cool, I have to say. But I also have to say that athletes posing tough has always bored the snot out of me.
Of course the posing is sorta lame and the choreographing of athletes is better left for "Dancing With The Stars"... but something about the All Black. Looks badass.
It's not posing, in the sense that Americans would do this. They take this very seriously, and play with an intensity level that can't be believed until you see it.
There's a reason they are the best rugby team in the world.
And not to mention one of the most successful teams in world sport.
Ron's right. The history behind the haka goes a long way back and there's a lot of passion that goes into performing it. Anything less than that would be an insult to NZ and the maori culture.
