Torre successfully holds back Manny

Yeah, Russell Martin helped, but it sure looks like 60-something year old Joe Torre is doing a damn fine job holding the bull-rushing 36-year-old Manny back. Maybe Torre would make a fine left tackle to protect Eli once he's done with this whole coaching thing. You know, as a fall back option in case this coaching lark doesn't pan out.

If the Phillies were REALLY crafty, they'd have had their most unnecessary reliever come in and throw at Manny. He charges the mound and gets suspended, along with Cholly and the mediocre pitcher... who wins that one?

Honestly, Manny was probably just feigning enthusiasm to make it seem like he cares. I really don't see a younger, buffer Manny being held back by Torre if Manny really wanted to fight.
