Is it possible for the Yankees to start a season setting a record for having the highest number of position players vying for a position that they don't regularly play?
Betemit (3b)
Lane (OF)
Duncan (OF)
Ensberg (3B)
I'll betcha we can even put Giambi on that list as he never really played the position when he played it.
My vote for Hughes' new number is Paulie O'Neill's 21.
Great pitcher number.
